Adult Reading Programs
The library typically conducts several reading programs for adults
throughout the year.
One
Book/One Community Book Discussion
Capital’s Utopia, by Anne E. Mosher (2004)
Join us for a discussion of Capital’s Utopia on
Tuesday, July 5th at 6 pm at the library. This year's selection for the
Westmoreland Library Network’s One Book/One Community program highlights
the early history of Vandergrift, PA and the Apollo Iron and Steel
Company.
A special bus trip for discussion participants is
planned for August 27 in Vandergrift. "…Learn about the planning and
founding of a steel community in Westmoreland County".
Continuing until August, discussions will be held
throughout the county at participating library locations.
Books are available at the library. Call, 724-744-4414,
or stop by to sign up.
