OVERDRIVE
The District has contracted with Overdrive.com to provide downloadable digital media (i.e., audio books, music and videos) to all library patrons within the district. This is a free service.

Click here or on the icon above to begin.

After you browse the content, to download an item, add it to your cart, then click on the Proceed to Checkout link. Choose "Penn Area Library" from the drop-down list and then enter your patron ID number. A one-time download and installation of a free software called "Overdrive Media Console" is also required to comply with the publisher licensing agreements. Once this is done, the digital media can be used on a personal computer, mp3 player, and/or in some cases be burned to a CD. Each item lists which of these digital rights applies.
